General tips

Shopping / Consumption

We believe in making mindful choices when it comes to shopping and consumption. Each purchase you make can have an impact on our planet, so we encourage you to think carefully before buying. Look for high-quality products with timeless designs that you can enjoy for years to come. When you're done with them, consider recycling or selling them to someone else.

Wearing

When it comes to wearing your clothes, show them some love and take good care of them. If there's a broken seam, fix it. Treat stains promptly and consider how different fabrics interact with each other. Also, be mindful of how bags rub against sensitive fabrics and can cause pilling.

Pilling

If your garment starts to pill, please don’t worry and understand that it is a normal behavior soft fabric can make. You can use pilling remover / lint remover or your razor to remove them from your garment and your garment will be like new and you can keep wearing your clothes.

Washing

When it's time to wash your clothes, always check the care label for instructions to avoid shrinking or damaging them unnecessarily. Remember, you don't always need to wash as often as you think. Air ventilate your garments by hanging them outside or use a steamer to freshen them up. Spot treat stains when possible. Hand washing is gentler than machine washing, but if you use a machine, you can usually wash colder and more gently than recommended on the care label, benefiting both your clothes and the planet.

To preserve the sharpness and vibrancy of prints and colors, wash your garments inside out and with similar colors. If you're washing synthetic fabrics, consider using a microfiber washing bag to prevent microfibers from entering the water system.

When it comes to choosing a detergent, opt for a gentle and soft one without bleach. Bleach can cause stains and damage the fibers unnecessarily. It's also best to skip fabric softeners as they often contain chemicals harmful to aquatic life and are not easily biodegradable.

Storing

When storing your clothes, hang suits and delicate garments to maintain their shape. Fold clothes that contain rubber to avoid hanger marks and stretching. Periodically organize and clean your closet to ensure proper folding and ventilation.

Drying

Lastly, try to minimize tumble drying as it can wear out your clothes. Instead, hang or lay them flat to dry, depending on the garment.By following these friendly and appealing practices, you can make a positive impact while enjoying your clothes for years to come.
