Hi! It's Brenda, the woman behind Wear Rame.

Wear Ramé began in 2018, in a small dorm room in Taipei.

I was a university student then, far from home, full of dreams, and quietly trying to figure out who I was becoming. Life felt exciting, overwhelming, joyful, and chaotic all at once. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was in a season of becoming.

One night, unable to sleep, I found myself searching for something that felt like me, something I could create that was honest and personal. As I wandered through words and ideas online, I came across one that stopped me:

'Rame'

In Indonesian, it describes a feeling that is lively, joyful, noisy, chaotic — full of energy and life at the same time.

It felt like someone had put a name to everything I was feeling.
Joyful, but messy.
Hopeful, but uncertain.
Calm, yet chaotic.
Human.
 In that moment, I knew I didn’t want to hide those contradictions anymore. I wanted to celebrate them.
So I paired it with one simple word:
 'Wear'

Because I wanted to create clothes that you don’t just put on your body but clothes that let you show up as yourself.

 

Wear Rame.

A reminder that you don’t have to be perfect, polished, or put together to be worthy.
You can be joyful, chaotic, soft, strong, all at once and still belong.
From the very beginning, I knew the brand had to be connected to Bali. Bali was never just a destination to me. It was the place where I felt safest being myself. A place that held a quiet kind of magic where creativity flowed, life slowed down, and inspiration felt effortless.

Whenever I was there, I felt lighter. Freer. More alive.

So even before Wear Rame truly existed, I knew its heart would live in Bali.
 Wear Rame Bali became more than a name.
It became a feeling.
 A brand born from a dorm room, shaped by chaos and joy, and grounded in a place that reminds us to live fully and authentically.

Today, Wear Rame is for women who romanticize life, who move through the world with softness and strength, who embrace every version of themselves, even the messy, in-between ones.

Because life isn’t meant to be perfectly curated.

It’s meant to be lived.

Joyfully.
Chaotically.
Beautifully.

Wear Rame is built on the belief that clothing should move with your life, not limit it. We create a carefully edited collection of timeless, multipurpose pieces designed to carry you through the rhythm of your day. We want you to feel confident not only in how you look, but in where your clothing comes from and how it was made. Wear Rame is about pieces that feel personal, garments that live with you, grow with you, and become part of your story.

 

The Journey

For us, growth is an ongoing process. As creators, we understand that perfection is never instant, especially when working with the realities of design, craftsmanship, and production. What matters most to us is the commitment to keep improving, refining, and doing better with every piece we create. More than anything, Wear Rame has always been a journey. One that we are growing through together with our community, step by step.

The Designs

We design for real life, not trends. Every piece is made to last, in quality, in feeling, and in the way it fits into your wardrobe year after year. Because the Wear Rame woman doesn't fit into one version of herself, and her clothes shouldn't either.

The Maker

Behind Wear Rame is a team of 45 people, from our store teams to the in-house creatives and local artisans in Bali who bring each piece to life. Some have been part of the journey since day one, believing in the vision before it became what it is today and growing alongside the brand over the years. What started as a small dream has become a collective built on trust, dedication, and shared purpose. Supported by our partners and the incredible community around us, Wear Rame exists because of the people who continue to build it every day.
